Plymouth High School’s Momentum, proudly takes to the stage in its 11th competitive season. The 48 member ensemble is made up of passionate and dedicated performers who are devoted to spreading joy through their art. Momentum would like to thank all the directors, parents and fellow performers that support show choir and work endlessly to keep the arts alive. Specifically, they would like to send all their love to their own community of parents and fans who support them in all they do. This season, Momentum presents “Ghost Stories”. Goblins, ghouls and things that go bump in the night - what happens when our camping group comes face to face with their biggest fears? Will they get consumed by the terrors? Will they make it out alive? Oh calm down, there’s nothing to be afraid of!

Vortex is a select varsity treble ensemble consisting of 57 singers, 23 band members, and 13 student crew members. We are so fortunate to have an incredible crew of parent volunteers that make all the magic happen onstage! Vortex is excited to compete throughout Iowa and South Dakota this year, and we want to wish the best of luck to everyone performing today! Under the direction of Abby Hoshaw and Jon Edgeton, show band directed by Brogan Kearney, accompanied by Ethan Quinn and choreographed by Lexi Robson and Braxton Carr, we are proud to present Vortex 2026: Bess.

Studio 2026 is the varsity show choir at Urbandale High School. One of seven performing choirs in the award-winning and comprehensive vocal music program at UHS, Studio is an auditioned group of 70 singers, 28 instrumentalists, and 14 crew members. Studio is proud to introduce their 2026 show, Man of La Mancha, the legendary story of the knight-errant Don Quixote and his faithful companions Sancho Panza and Dulcinea del Toboso. The set includes “Man of La Mancha,” “La Taberna/Bar Maid/Gray Flowers,” “Windmills of Your Mind/Delusions of Grandeur/Imagination Station,” and “The Impossible Dream.” The group is directed by Adam Brown; assisted by Brenden Ball, Lisa Tekippe, and Jeff Temple; and choreographed by Kevin Chase and Alex Schultz. Studio 2026 continues a long tradition of excellence in performance. This year, the choir competes at Linn-Mar Supernova, Johnston SHOWZAM!, Waukee Northwest Nightfall, and Norris Fields of Talent. They also co-host the Urbandale Show Choir Invitational with Vitality and Affinity on February 13th and 14th. The group would like to thank the countless parents, volunteers, and supporters who make all of this possible. Millennium is one of two show choirs from Waukee High School and consists of 58 singers and dancers, 26 band members, and 16 crew members. They would like to thank their family members, Vocal Music Booster Organization, Waukee administrators, and their assistant directors Katie Sullivan and Caleb Clay for all they do to support them and make their show possible. Under the direction of Tony Dam, choreographed by Peyton Bellman, Tori Brindis and Jarad Voss, with show design by Adam Peters and arrangements by Garrett Breeze and Michael Berg Raunick, they proudly present their 2026 show: "The Great Flare."

4th Avenue Jazz Company is the varsity show choir at City High School in Iowa City, Iowa. This year's show explores the essence of the human experience: following your heart, embracing your true self, learning from mistakes, connecting with others, and recognizing our constant capacity for growth. We take you on a journey of self-discovery and a celebration of what it means to be fully, authentically, and beautifully, human. Directed by Emma Erner and Matt Walker, assistant directed by Andrew AbouAssaly and Maryn Budke, choreographed by Lexi Robson Buglewicz, and arranged by Steve Shanley, with combo directed by senior Linus McRoberts, 4th Avenue Jazz Company is proud to present their 2025-2026 show, "Heartlines."

Spectrum is the Varsity show choir from Ankeny Centennial High School in Ankeny, IA. Composed of 60 singer/dancers, 22 instrumentalists and 22 crew members, students in Spectrum excel in the classroom and in their community. They would like to thank their family members, volunteer organizations, Centennial administrators, collaborative pianist, Erin Stoltenberg, and show band director Brogan Kearney for all they do to support them and make their show possible. Under the direction of Caroline and Jon Edgeton, choreographed by Braxton Carr and Lexi Robson, with arrangements by Andrew Jacobson, they proudly present, "The Beacon."

En Fuego is a 7th grade show choir from Timberline Middle School. En Fuego is made up of 45 singers and 2 band members. They are choreographed by Grace Pacheco and Peyton Bellman, with arrangements by Garrett Breeze and Anita Cracauer. En Fuego is under the direction of Cecilia Shutt, and they are assistant-directed by Mark Fakler and student-directed by Alex Abbott, Jordan VanDis, Hannah Van Leeuwen, and Ellie White.

Joy Collective is Des Moines Christian’s 7th and 8th grade, non-audition show choir. Under the direction of Danielle Boley and Hayley Vander Wal, choreographed by Allie Koenigsfeld (Ko-nigs-feld), Joy Co. has just one question for you today: Do you know what time it is? SHOW TIME!

Featuring 59 singers and 9 band members, Ambition is the premiere 7th grade show choir at UMS. Directed by Chris Conner, assistant directed by Morgan Eadie and Bethany Schultz, and choreographed by Kaitlyn Molis, Ambition is excited to continue a tradition of excellence with their show “Unfiltered and Loud.” From struggle to strength, the story begins with Enemy of the Q.U.E.E.N., a fiery opener charged with tension and defiance. The mood shifts inward with All I Know So Far, a heartfelt ballad of reflection and vulnerability. Finally, the journey reaches its climax with Song of the Unbroken, a triumphant anthem of resilience, power, and joy—a celebration of rising above and dancing forward, unshaken.

Urbandale High School’s Affinity treble show choir is in its third year of existence. It consists of 39 choir members, 25 band members, and 10 crew members.

The student directors are: Sarah Cole, Brookelyn Hartman, Jaime Neas, Annabelle Russell, and Natalie Tekippe. The show band is directed by David Breese and accompanied by Jeff Temple. The show choir is directed by Courtney Johnson, assisted by Brenden Ball and Lisa Tekippe, and choreographed by Alex Shultz.

Affinity would like to thank the UHS Performing Arts Booster Club, prop building volunteers, and costume volunteers for everything they do to help Urbandale’s show choirs look and sound amazing.

A group of hopeful performers arrives in Hollywood to chase their biggest dream: landing a role in a major show. Just when the hope of making it feels lost, perseverance and believing in themselves makes dreams come true.

Runway is the treble show choir from Ralston High School. The group is comprised of 34 singer-dancers and is accompanied by a 20 member student band, “Rampage”. Runway will be competing this season at Standing Bear “The Summit”, Waukee Northwest “Nightfall”, Elkhorn South “Crystal Cup”, Wahoo “Court of Champions”, and Lincoln Northeast “The Rock”. This year’s show is based on the classic children’s story “The Rainbow Fish”. The music teaches us the important lessons of friendship, inclusion, and celebrating what’s special about ourselves. Remember- To give happiness to others is a great happiness, too. We hope you enjoy our show with a little extra sparkle and shine!

Genesis is the 9th grade show choir from Waukee. Genesis is made up of 54 singers, 16 band members, and 11 crew members. They are choreographed by Tori Brindis and Peyton Bellman, with arrangements by Garrett Breeze. Genesis is under the direction of Katie Sullivan, and they are assistant-directed by Audrey Dix, Jaren Jernberg, Bryn Mineck, Owen Twedt, and Josiah Van Leeuwen.

Chaos is one of four show choirs at Ankeny Centennial High School. Chaos is composed of 64 singers/dancers and 19 band members in grades 9-12. We are supported by the greatest community and want to recognize them for everything they do. Chaos will travel with the rest of the Centennial Show Choir program this season and cannot wait to bring their show to you. Chaos is choreographed by Nick Quamme and Logan Eilers, and is under the direction of Misty Renze and Jon Edgeton. They proudly present: Let’s Get Loud!

Vitality is Urbandale High School’s JV show choir and consists of 58 singers, 28 band members, and 12 crew. The group is student-directed by Logan Augspurger, Malley Brimeyer, Braeden Cox, Sydney Hasson, and Kate Schumacher. Vitality is directed by Rachael Schrobilgen, Brenden Ball, Lisa Tekippe, Jeff Temple, and David Breese, with choreography by Kevin Chase and Alex Schultz.

Spirit is a show choir from Waukee High School and consists of 60 singers and dancers, 24 band members, and 15 crew members in grades 10-12. These students are involved in a variety of activities outside of the school day. Spirit is proud to be a part of the award-winning, comprehensive vocal music program at Waukee High School. Spirit is under the direction of Jeff Knutson, choreographed by Jarad Voss, Tori Brindis and Peyton Bellman. Their show is arranged and designed by Garrett Breeze, and they are assistant-directed by Katie Sullivan and Caleb Clay.

Eternal Rush is one of four show choirs in the Ankeny Centennial program. The ensemble is comprised of 66 singers and dancers, supported by a 21-member band and a 13-member technical crew. They are grateful for your support and wish all performing groups the very best. Directed by Emily Franks, assisted by Logan Eilers, accompanied by Erin Stoltenberg, and choreographed by Lexi Robson, Braxton Carr, and Kensley Taylor, Eternal Rush is proud to present its 2026 competition show, “Planet ER.”

Inferno is the 8th grade show choir from Timberline Middle School in Waukee, IA. Students in this ensemble are active in band, drama, athletics, student leadership, and numerous other activities both in and out of school.

Inferno is choreographed by Peyton Bellman and Grace Pacheco, with arrangements by Garrett Breeze. Inferno is made up of 28 singers, 14 band members, and 8 crew members. They are under the direction of Mark Fakler with Cecilia Shutt as the show band director and student directors Neelie Streit, Preet Singh, Sofi Ordonez, and Grace Adams.

Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare to be dazzled by the sensational Pizzazz, the auditioned 8th grade show choir from Urbandale Middle School!rnrnFeaturing 61 singers, 10 band members, and 4 brilliant high school student directors, Pizzazz is under the direction of Holly Ann Russell and Morgan Eadie, with choreography designed by Nick Quamme and Alex Schultz.rnrnGet ready to jump to your feet as Pizzazz presents their electrifying 2026 show, "Decades of Dance"! From the iconic moves of the 1950s to today's dance hits, this performance is guaranteed to make you feel like dancing!

Dynamite, from Southview Middle School in Ankeny, Iowa, is proud to be a non-auditioned 8th grade show choir and is the first show choir experience for these students. Dynamite 2026 is comprised of 117 singer/dancers, 19 band members, and 16 crew members. Their competitive season consists of Johnston Showzam, Ankeny Centennial Mid-Iowa Show Choir Championships, Waukee Northwest Nightfall, and Pella Dutch Masters. Dynamite's 2026 show "Up & Down" reminds us that we can push through any limitations by believing in ourselves, re-imagining what's possible, and being part of a team that refuses to back down. They begin with a Wake Me Up medley featuring Maya Schmidt, Simon Andersen, Harper Viers and Kenzie Collum, then move to their ballad, If The World Turned Upside Down featuring Audrina Crane and Jordyn Robbins, and close with Down Like That featuring Cambriah Van Horn. Dynamite is choreographed by Kevin Chase and Alex Schultz, and is directed by Jill Bjorklund and Nick Oswald. Northview Middle School is proud to present Ignition, our 8th-grade mixed show choir! This non-auditioned group is made up of 73 singers and dancers, and backed by a 19-member show band, and 4-member crew. Meeting every Tuesday and Friday morning, Ignition provides students with their first show choir experience. Under the direction of Sam Thomas and Ryan Orme, and choreographed by Nick Quamme, this year’s show is all about breaking away from your worries and pressures, and daring to be yourself. Ignition is thrilled to share their 2026 show: Pressure Off.
